Description: Our third Bernerhof Discussion takes place on Wednesday, 23rd March at 7 pm. The topic: Is snow a thing of the past? Top-class speakers will discuss whether tourism in the Alps has a future and, if so, how. Alles fahrt Schii and Gigi vo Arosa are things of the past. 500 million people who neither go skiing nor snowboarding live in Europe. Is there a way to encourage these 500 million people to go on holiday in the mountains?
Speakers:
Klaus J. Stöhlker, PR consultant and author. He has published and commented regularly in the Swiss media.
Otto Steiner from Sarnen, he plans and realises visitor attractions as a likeable lateral thinker. He creates worlds of experience with his team: exhibitions, visitor centres, visitor tours, shops, urban open spaces and gardens.
Martin Bachofner, Tourism Director at Gstaad Saanenland Tourism
The discussion round that takes place after the talks is led by Sonja Hasler, the likeable Arena and Rundschau presenter.
